ATIPIM HEMAA NANA KYEREWAA I, invites you to the funeral of her Mother... Atipim Hemaa Nana Kyerewaa I of Obogu traditional area, Operation Director, Change a Life Time Companies Inc. USA, founder/director Urban Angels International School Obogu, invites you to the funeral service for her mother, Mrs. Alice Konadu Agyemang Badu, aka Afia Nkwanta. Mrs. Alice was born in Obogu, grew in Nkwanta, and was married to the late Mr. Kwame Agyemang-Badu. Mrs. Alice was retired from nursing in the United Kingdom. She returned home to Ghana and settled at Tema; later returning to London, until her demise. She was 95. Mrs. Alice had four children, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Alice was a hardworking, loveable and God fearing woman with passion of services.. Funeral Arrangements are as follows: Wake Keeping - Friday 16th November, 2018 at Obogu car park Urban Angels International School premises  Final funeral rites - Saturday 17th November, 2018 at Obogu Old Palace.

Naa Korkor Aadzieoyi I, founder of Adabraka Queen Mother foundation, in collaboration with Ama Ata Aidoo Creative Writing Center, located at African University College of Communications, will initiate the "Read for Me Project" in Adabraka. The theme of this initiative Reading: The Foundation for Creative Writing and Key Literacy Skills for Development. The goal is to improve the quality of a child's performance through reading books that will increase vocabulary, enhance literacy skills and build confidence towards exploring creative skills. Upon a rapid assessment of basic schools, children do not have access to reading center facilities. BECE results and continuous analysis of performance also revealed very limited output with a majority of the children in primary to JSH level displaying poor quality of reading and the inability to express themselves through writing.  As a way to enhance reading and creative
