MENTAL HEALTH WALK 2018

Accra Psychiatric Hospital and the Mental Health Authority climaxed the week long awareness of mental health issues with a walk and health screening.
The mental health walk brought together stakeholders in likes of STass Ghana , R&M Foundation, The Queen Mother of Adabraka, Naa Korkor Aadizeoyi I and people of all ages.
The walkers gathered at the hospital 7:00 am this morning, to begin their journey. The walk continued through Adabraka to Accra central with a final stop at Makola Market where the health screenings took place.
Dr. Augustina Pinamaa Apau stressed the need to encourage continuous awareness and discussion of mental health issues in the county.
Dr. Apau thanked participants, volunteers and organizations who made this year's walk successful on Saturday, 13th October 2018.
