The Hair Event 2018

The International Academy of Cosmetology (TIAC), which aims to create an opportunity for beauty therapist to reach their maximum potential through constant updates and enhancement, staged a three day maiden edition hair event at Best Western Hotel located at the airport.

Professionals of the beauty and hair industry featured educational workshops and panel discussions. The likes of Dzidor Arkutu CEO of Dzidzor Spa, Subaye Opoku-Acquah, CEO of 3130 Naturals, Grace Amey-Obeny, CEO of FC Beauty Clinic (Ghana) and other professionals of the industry graced the event.

TIAC made history hosting TOLA OLAYANJU, Charis Hair (UK), a multidimensional award winning company and hairstylist, who educated many and critiqued works of the students.

Supporing brands and vendors were overjoyed to have a new professional venue to introduce their products and services.

Attendees of the event were entertained with a runway hair show, music and an amazing catwalk by some beautiful and talented kids. Several attendees expressed their happiness with being able to test products before purchasing them. 

Debra-Jane Nelson, consultant, thanked TIAC for organising an amazing event. She also thanked the supporting partners and attendees for participating in the maiden edition of The Hair Show 2018.

The chair designed by Miss Fuseina, according to the organisers of the event stood out amongst the works produced by the other contestants.
